The Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the written and inspired Word of God, inerrant in its original writings, and is the infallible authority by which He directs and governs all our activities. It is fully authoritative and is our only absolutely trustworthy guide and rule for faith and life.

Jesus Christ is Lord of heaven and earth, preexistent with the Father, God of very God. He is the Eternal Word of God become flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He was crucified, suffered, bled and died. He was buried and three days later rose from the grave victorious over death and the powers of darkness. He ascended to the right hand of God the Father where He is glorified in Him. He is the only mediator between God and man. He is the God-given atonement for the sins of all who accept the free gift of salvation in Him. This salvation is by His grace through faith alone. Failure to believe (trust) in Him results in eternal separation from God. The Lord Jesus will return in glory and triumph, raise the dead, judge all men, and establish His glorious eternal Kingdom. Presbyterian Church of the Hills also holds firmly to the teachings found in the Westminster Confession of Faith, and the Largerand Shorter Catechismsof the Westminster Assembly.

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. The third day He rose again from the dead, He ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic* church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen
