Children's Ministry
Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
We believe that our children are an integral part of the life of the church and our desire is to teach our children from an early age to be active participants in every facet of the "Body Life" of our fellowship. Jesus clearly shows His passion for children and the teaching of them. We see it fit that we carry out this passion in Lake Crest. We provide several opportunities in our children's ministry. Below is a list of the many activities we have available.
Weekly:
* Sunday School for all ages
* Pre-school nursery during worship service
* Children's Church during worship service (k4-1st grade)
Each summer we get the pleasure of welcoming children from around the community to join us for a week of Vacation Bible School and Bible Camp (This year the dates will be from 6/11/2012 to 6/15/2012). This is a time that we invite children of all ages to come and learn about their Creator. We encourage the youth to participate as volunteers during this week to give them an idea of how Christ can use them in many ways.
Special Events are planned throughout the year, especially around holidays. Please check our church schedule for any updates.
